An unforgettable ryokan experience
10.0My Japanese was not good, but the staff were always friendly and found a way to communicate. The room in Japanese style was cozy, and the smell of tatami was one of my unforgettable memories there. Their onsen was spacious and clean, and there was a sauna. The whole place was very quiet, and the guests were mostly Japanese families and elderies (so please inform yourself about Japanese culture, try to fit in and be respectful). One of my favorite things about this ryokan is that they offer daily activities for their guests in the evening. It’s only 30 minutes, but their staff show the guests the nature and beauty of Lake Shikotsu (it was only in Japanese though). Me and my kid had a wonderful experience. The breakfast and dinner buffet were fresh and delicious. I miss the ryokan already.
− They offer shuttle buses, but the guests have to make a reservation first. It wasn’t clearly communicated, and the email communication wasn’t efficient. However, when I call them on the phone, they offered me immediate assistance.

8.0朝食がパン食派もまんぞくするものだった。
− 夜間のため、イーバイクで休暇村支笏湖の看板に従って進行したが、100メートル程行ってもわからず元来た道に引き返し、結局そこで車を強引に止め、親切な札幌№のワゴンで車体ごと休暇村支笏湖に入場した。 後でわかったことだが、ほんの二三十ｍ先に進行していれば矢印で判明したのだが。 せめて、看板に「150ｍ先を矢印に従い進行」と付記していればと思う。
現実逃避
8.0静かでロケーションが最高でした。野鳥好きにはたまらないですね。料理も豪華ではないけど工夫がされていて良かったです。お風呂も混雑していない。
− 冷暖房が集中制御？で、7月でも寒い日は個別に暖房に切り替え出来ない。ジュースの自販機が現金のみ。
旅館被漂亮的樹林圍繞，可惜房間是面對停車場，室內溫泉區很普通。自助餐選項不算多但是足夠，特色是有起司鍋。
