Fantastic location, close to beach, great restaurants and a 10 mins walk to the port.
− Everything to like, the apartments are basic but clean. They are small, but if you just want a decent base rather than a home from home experience then fully recommend.

Stay at this apartment at your own peril

Good location
− Stay at this apartment if you want to risk being evicted for reporting a complaint. It could ruin your holiday. A couple of hours after checking into our apartment, we noticed a noise that sounded like a pool pump behind the bedroom wall. We contacted the manager during business hours to see what could be done. After several attempts he contacted us and advised us that he had not had any previous complaints about this; to try it out and we could discuss the next morning. We barely got any sleep that night because the pump kept going intermittently all night. It seemed to be triggered by anyone in the resort going to the toilet. The manager did not arrive in the office as expected the next morning. Frustrated by this lack of communication and availability during business hours, we contacted Booking.com and they started the complaint process to get the matter resolved. He arrived soon after. He advised that the options were to: relocate us to the apartment above or provide a refund. We asked for time to consider his proposal. Given the difficulties we had in contacting them since checking in, my partner asked if they would be more responsive once we had made a decision. The manager became angry and wanted us to vacate the apartment within 1 hour with a refund. We were shocked at such a response and unprofessional behaviour. We found ourselves in an extremely stressful situation with no accommodation. Fortunately, we had a hire car to facilitate vacating the apartment and we were able to secure accommodation several hours later. Interestingly, we noticed there were vacant apartments available at the Bellamar but this was not offered. We would have been willing to pay an additional fee for a quieter apartment. Clearly, the manager is reckless and in the wrong line of work, if this is how he dealt with a complaint about a noisy pump. Book there at YOUR OWN PERIL.
