May be the best hotel in DanDong, but manage your expectations
6.0The best I can say is: it’s kind of fair value for money, i guess. It is rather old and didn’t age well, but the room was clean. Our room had this unfortunate set-up of a big window into the bathroom, an idea I never understood nor liked, esp. as our view was to the buildings. The furniture is old and worn out, so manage tour expectations.

Big, well apointed, and with a spooky almost no electricity view of North Korea
10.0I really like the Wanda Dandong. It is impressively large but clean and well appointed. The wait staff in the dining area are all from North Korea. My Chinese is poor but once I realized they were from across the river, literally, my language problems faded away. we travel a lot so I got a suite. Huge, nice. Rarely used. Pro-tip- before you run the shower look to see that the drains are not blocked in some way with the body hair of a million previous guests.
Quality Hotel
8.0There’s a limited choice of hotels for Western visitors in Dandong. This is a Chinese hotel chain, and is well versed in catering for Western tastes, this hotel is no exception, centrally located in the city for all amenities. Will return!
