We will return, as the Swan is a familiar place and we like it very much.
8.0We always stay at the Swan when we come to Staines, as it is close to where I used to live and all my friends in the area, as well as being close to Heathrow, where we always fly out of. The location is beautiful, right on the river and a quick 15 minute walk into all the shops and restaurants Staines has to offer. The breakfast is great, and the staff are always helpful and friendly. There are nice river walks in the area as well.
− We have always felt our stays have been good value for money, however, this time we found it to be quite expensive for two nights, more than 50% more than the last time we stayed. Also, due to the increasingly hotter summers, I recommend they invest in air conditioning as it was stifling hot at night, and the two fans in our room didn’t seem to make a difference.
Please contact the hotel ahead of time if you are planning to arrive after 22:15 as reception is not manned 24 hours and it may not be possible to gain access.
