No power, cold shower, little concern
2.0This is a hostel style accommodation above a pub. Cleanliness was an issue between the bathrooms and the room itself. I made tea and didn't drink it as there was a floating layer of who knows what. We had no power in the rooms upstairs and no hot water. I initially got blamed by a guy knocking on my door asking if I'd used a plug converter. I hadn't yet needed to and he said I couldn't. Because of this I couldn't charge my phone or more importantly my hearing aids. I also got harassed but one of male guys running there place about whether I'd paid for parking which was clearly stated was included in the reservation. The female bartender was kind and great through it all. The men were accusatory and didn't seem to care that things weren't working.

1.0− Subject: Request for Refund – Hotel Did Not Provide Room Dear Booking.com Customer Service, I am writing to request a refund of £63 for a reservation I made through your platform. Upon arrival at the property, I was informed that they do not work with Booking.com and they refused to provide me with a room. As a result, I was left without accommodation despite having a confirmed booking and payment. I kindly request a full refund of the amount paid (£63) as I was unable to use the service I paid for.
