Very interesting to learn all about the culture, see the women working in traditional ways, and try out the millet processing. I also enjoyed the traditional food and the singing and dancing. I didn’t like that we were not told the cost of the tour, and the European food was not very good.

Interesting experience and very friendly staff

8.0

Ongula Village is about 45 minutes drive, mostly on tar from Ondangwa. We did not quite realise that before we arrived. However, we really enjoyed the experience. Unfortunately, our stay was too short, to actually participate in the activities, but the staff very very friendly and accommodating, the traditional dinner tasty and well presented. The rooms were very comfortable, we may have preferred better lighting for reading, but that applies to most accommodation these days. It is a perfect place for anyone wanting a cultural experience, as authentic as possible.

Hotel atypique.

8.0
