Good value and a good vibe
10.0We had a wonderful stay at the inn. Mathew and Natalya were great hosts and directed us to good local guides and restaurants. Our room was very basic (may not have been the best in the inn) but very clean and adequate. Very good value for the money. The sign says good vibrations and that was very true as we quickly felt at home with our hosts and the other guests.
Excellent hotel, wonderful hosts
10.0Mathew and Nathalia were wonderful hosts. They spent a lot of time answering our questions and directing us to activities that suited our needs. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was served every morning and was delicious. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the beach and walking distance to several restaurants and a small shop. There is also a great surf shop that offers equipment and lessons nearby. I would definitely recommend the Indra Inn to anyone staying in Playa Grande.

2.0This lodge looks great from the outside but its disgustingly dirty from inside. They have centipedes all over the floor, spiders everywhere from under the sink, on the curtains, on the bed and scorpion behind the bed. They need to really step up their cleanliness. The staff was alright, a little helpful but very mean and not understanding when we didn't want to live in a bug infested room and risk getting bit by the scorpion. The guy in charge said they get scorpions often and people get bitten all the time. Im sorry but i dont like putting my family and my life at risk to get bitten by a poisonous scorpion. I understand its Costa Rica and having a few bugs is normal but its NOT normal to have those bugs in the room. Im playing to stay inside the lodge or I would camp in the rainforest. Book rooms at your own risk.
