The absolute worst motel in the area! 0/10 recommended. (Part 1/2) We had an absolutely horrendous experience on our last stay here that we will NEVER be returning. We were harassed and yelled at multiple times by their employee, Jerry. He was incredibly rude, aggressive and hostile towards us the entire time we were there. The previous time we had stayed there, we had an issue where we were unable to stay in our suite the first night as the room had not been cleaned. The floors were sticky and the sheets were soiled unfortunately. Since the front desk closes early, we were unable to get assistance until the next morning. Sara (I think her name was) kindly acknowledged the issue and provided effective support, moving us to another room for the remainder of our stay. We found her to be incredibly kind, compassionate and proactive. Unfortunately, she is rarely there and thus guests are stuck having to deal with Jerry. During our subsequent stay, Jerry thought it was appropriate to comment on the previous situation.This was inappropriate since the situation had already been resolved by another employee and he was not present initially to comprehend the situation nor to engage in conversation about it in an educated manner. He was also aggressive and agitated towards us as he was under the impression that we had requested a full refund (10 days) of our previous stay. However, the reality was that we had only requested a refund of a single night, the night that we could not sleep in the room due to its uncleanliness. Despite the motel accepting our reservation, Jerry decided that he would not allow us to enter our suite. This was incredibly stressful as it was late in the afternoon and other hotels in the area were already booked. Ultimately, Booking.com forced Jerry to honour our reservation since they had already accepted it. The way he handled this situation was BEYOND unacceptable and inappropriate.

− The absolute worst motel in the area! 0/10 recommended. (Part 2/2) Upon entering our suite, Jerry continued to verbally harass us. Later, we overhead him talking about us negatively to both staff and guests at reception, all based on the inaccurate information he had. He made use feel uncomfortable and unsafe. Additionally, Jerry had hung up on us when we requested support with a blocked toilet. Similarly, he yells violently when you go to reception to get new towels and/or return old towels. He once mumbled "why do people keep bringing me towels?". Where did he want us to place the old towels? In the garbage? Another time, we had returned from town to find that the power in our suite was out. When we called reception for support, we were yelled at once again by Jerry whom accused us of overloading the circuit. When we had explained to him that we had just gotten home, he hung up on us!! We are absolutely shocked and saddened that someone like this could be employed in a front facing customer service position. We strongly recommend that management reevaluate his role at the motel. We highly recommend that Sara be promoted to a management position if she is not already a manager. As of today (July the 24th), Booking.com is still waiting to hear back from management in order to process the aforementioned refund request of 1 night. We encourage management to address this issue as soon as possible. Thank you.
