The room and location was exactly what I needed to rest and get a hot shower so I could continue on with my journey home.

− The room was echoing due to the high ceilings I guess and the stairs were a bit noisy.

The Executive Spa Suite was very spacious; fantastic beds (though I should have added the extra blanket as without it I was a bit cold); provided with everything we needed; excellent kitchen facilities (plenty of crockery and a dishwasher so most dishes we used could go in there); great shower. We liked the balcony - it would be good to hang out there in summer. We loved the old-style of the place (including the ornate ceiling in the loungeroom) that has been renovated really well. The self-check-in and locks were great and very secure and easy to use.

− The air conditioners were very noisy and old-looking - the one in the lounge room was noisy but not too bad (could still hear the TV); the one in the bedroom area was extremely noisy. But they kept us comfortable enough. I imagine they may be less of an issue in warmer weather due to the high ceilings helping to keep the rooms cool, and ceiling fans. There were 2 small milk cartons in the fridge but one was already opened so we discarded it. On the balcony perhaps there could be instructions or rules on what we can do there - e.g. can we turn on the gas heaters (and how)? Is glassware allowed? Is there a 'curfew'? Can you please change the batteries in the kitchen clock - it would be helpful! Maybe include a bin labelled 'for recycling'.

Nice balcony to sit on with gas heaters. Shared kitchen provided was great for meal prep. Room had everything you’d need.
