− Came for the hot tub because they don’t have one at best western. Paid a little more and no hot tub. Should have been told when booked

− Remote was missing from the room, condescending response from front desk. Brought up a new remote and said this may not work, and if it doesn’t were fully booked so we don’t have any more. AC was not working in room, again said no rooms available. No one at the front desk in the morning during check oyt to discuss with

It’s was calm and relaxing with wonderful staff

The people, the fluffy pillows and bed, the pool, it wasn’t wild and loud

− They stated they were under maintenance I’m not sure what that entails but unfortunately we did get some speed bumps - TV not really working. Kept losing signal for periods of time. - Under the sink had some garbage - There was a contact and something random under the table in the corner. So it made me think it wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. - The AC fan did not work properly. It is connected to the wall device but no matter which one we tried, it still didn’t work properly to set the fan. The AC itself worked. - Only one garbage bin was lined and I did not notice if there were any to line the cans. The biggest pain was the TV LOL

Extremely Disappointing Stay — Poor Management and Service Issues Throughout

I chose to book this Hampton Inn because of the many positive reviews, but unfortunately my entire stay was a major disappointment from the moment I checked in until the day I left. Upon arrival, I was assigned a room that had not even been cleaned or prepared for a guest. I had to contact the front desk, and they moved me to another room. Unfortunately, the problems continued — the TV and the in-room safe were both not working. I reported the issues to the front desk before leaving for the day and was assured that someone would come to fix them while I was out. When I returned, neither issue had been resolved, and I had to contact the front desk again the following day. Eventually, maintenance came by and informed me that the TV issue could not be fixed, although they were able to get the safe working. The housekeeping service was another major disappointment. Before leaving one morning, I called the front desk to request fresh towels and was instructed to leave the used towels on the floor so housekeeping could replace them. When I returned, there had been no housekeeping service at all — no fresh towels were provided, and the used towels were still sitting exactly where I had left them. I had no choice but to go to the front desk myself to request clean towels. The issues extended beyond the room. The fitness center had 3 out of 6 cardio machines out of order, and the water cooler in the gym had no water available for my entire stay. The breakfast service was also unacceptable. The hot breakfast buffet was advertised to begin at 6:00 AM, but even at 6:45 AM there was still no hot food available. After waiting, we eventually gave up and left. Throughout my stay, I spoke with several staff members who were apologetic and acknowledged the problems. I was told that a new management team had taken over about two weeks ago and that things had been declining since then. Other guests also mentioned similar complaints about the property. When I asked the front desk when management would be available so I could discuss my concerns directly, no one seemed to know. The staff did assure me that my concerns would be forwarded to management and that a manager would contact me. I will update this review if I receive any follow-up, but based on this experience, I cannot recommend this property at this time. A hotel stay should not involve repeatedly chasing staff for basic room functionality, clean towels, working facilities, and advertised amenities.
