Perfect for our weekend in London.
10.0This place was a great find. For a similar price to what our friends paid in a tiny hotel room, we got a spacious mezzanine apartment with a lounge and dining area. Surprisingly quiet, expect for the occasional hum of the nearby tube trains. I am very noise-sensitive and those didn't bother me. The 30 second walk to an M&S food hall was an unexpected bonus.
− The mattress was a little soft for our liking, but that's a minor quibble. On our second night the upstairs apartment had occupants (must've been empty the first night), and the footsteps etc of the guests returning at 11pm or so were very east to hear even though it was just normal movements. Thankfully that just lasted 10-15 minutes or so as they settled down, but it could've been an issue with more active neighbours.

Beautiful apartment – needs some noise work though
7.0This booking was a nice surprise. The apartment is beautiful, tastefully decorated, and extremely comfortable. Lovely location - couldn't ask for more in this regard.
− One big downside was the noise coming from the apartment upstairs, which I believe is also a booking from the same company. The ceiling must be paper thin as you can hear absolutely everything the person upstair does, and during my stay, they were walking and doing things from 2 am and back up at 6 am so it made sleeping quite difficult. It'd be great if the hosts could find a solution for this as it's a bit of a deal breaker. During check-in, there were a lot of discrepancies in the instructions emails sent. Emails sent different passwords for the door, one of which did not work and had me standing there for a while till I checked the other email. Same for the Wi-Fi, code shared in the apartment isn't up to date.
