Perfectly located on our trip into the highlands. The beds were super comfy and we were able to rent linen and buy some treats. The staff were super friendly!

Che dire È uno dei tre quattro ipotesi di sosta sulla f35. Un rifugio o quasi, È una bella esperienza con soluzione a camere da 4 letti a castello. Cucina molto dotata accessoriata e funzionale. Con piastra professionale dentro e il bbq fuori. Lavatrice e asciugatrice disponibile. Hot tube esterna rigenerante. Posizione bella vicina al lago. Gestori simpatici e disponibili

− Costo importante .. uno dei più alti che abbiamo fatto per i pernottamenti considerando che sei in camera in letti a castello e in 4 per cui ostello, 130 euro a notte in due è oltre a quello che vale.. abbiamo spesso trovato soluzioni tra i 70 e i 100 a notte a volte anche con la colazione per cui in ostello è tanto Altra cola la camera è piccolissima in 4 non ci stai non sai dove mettere bagagli ecc, per fortuna non. C era nessuno per cui avevamo tt la camera per due.

Good resting spot for a weary traveler in the highlands

There are not many locations in this area of Iceland since it's in the highlands, but this filled our needs perfectly and exceeded those expectations. Going in, I was expecting this to be more barebones, but the facilities were well above anything you could achieve with camping and was well worth it for our journeys. We got lucky that the place wasn't full, so we got to have a room for just the 2 of us when normally it would be max 4 people. The common areas are big and comfortable since the place holds a lot of people at max capacity. It was cool to learn that the place only hosts guests for ~2 months and then is used as a lodge for the local sheep herders to gather their livestock up for the winter.

− Didn't realize the bedding cost extra to rent for the night, since the beds are designed for you to be using a sleeping bag. Not a huge deal, got 2 sets and they were plenty comfortable.
