Great house for a big family, we had our 4 children and their spouses and 2 grandchildren. Very good location, highly recommend it.

We chose for location between Vik and the Golden Circle. It was not far from Reykjavik as well. We were 6 people and the house was super comfortable. The house was super quiet and the beds were so comfortable. The kitchen had been stocked with many things we could use. There were nice linens and a laundry.

− For Americans in our group it was unusual for so much personal property to be left in the house. For Europeans in our group, they said this was normal. Not a complaint, just an observation.

− The listing didn't mention this is renting someone's regular home, so you'll be in a home with personal clothes and stuff. The listing states there's a pool and sauna (for additional fee) but these are just the towns facilities... The toilet didn't smell clean, it smelt of urine. The faucets were white with toothpaste or something. The shower was set to a specific temperature we couldn't adjust, but was too hot for part of our group to even use. One bathrooms didn't have working lights, the other had broken door. Towels were stained. There were cats in the house when we got there, part of our group is very allergic so unpleasant surprise.
