Nous avons été ravis de notre séjour. Les propriétaires sont sympathiques et attentionnés : ils nous ont même préparé un délicieux gâteau aux pommes pour le petit déjeuner. Nous avions des questions sur les produits locaux en Italie et ils nous ont très bien conseillés, avec des recommandations utiles. Merci pour cette hospitalité qui a rendu notre expérience encore plus agréable !

− La veille de notre départ j'avais reçu un message de la propiétaire en me demandant l'heure de notre départ. Chose qui je trouve tout à fait normal. J'avais bien précisé que le check out aura lieu à 10h. Le jour du départ à 9h du matin elle etait déja sur place avec son mari à néttoyer la piscine. Je trouve que ce geste etait incorrect

Appartamento ubicato in una zona tranqulla a 15 minuti dal centro di Pontedera in una posizione comoda a meno di un'ora di viaggio da Pisa ,Lucca e Livorno. La piscina e l'esterno con vista sono il punto forte dell'appartamento, il quale e' fornito di moltissimi servizi ( lavastoviglie, aria condizionata, lavatrice, wifi, accessori per la cucina e molto altro) spazioso e pulito. E non per ultimo la cordialita' e la disponibilita' dei propietari. Consigliatissimo.

Sehr ruhige Lage, großer sauberer Pool nur für uns mit Zugang direkt über eine Treppe aus der Wohnung heraus. Wir wurden sehr nett von der Gastgeberin und ihrem Mann empfangen, sogar mit einem selbst gebackenen Kuchen!! Der Vater hat einen kleinen Obst-Gemüsegarten etwas unterhalb und versorgte uns mit frischen Eiern und Gemüse. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und groß, Küche mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. (auch nicht nur 4 Messer und alles abgezählt sondern in geeigneten Mengen vorhanden) Wir haben die Wohnung oft als Startpunkt genutzt für Tagesausflüge nach Pisa, Siena, usw. Und danach zur Entspannung in den Pool. Abends viele Glühwürmchen gesehen.. Den Kindern und uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und wir kommen gerne wieder!

We have experienced a week in Montecastello which we will never forget. It is always a little bit a surprise when you arrive at your holiday location, as you never know how it will be in reality. I can only say that upon our arrival, we were welcomed by a wonderful, warm person who showed us around in the house. We were also given an apple pie as a welcome. The house was very spacious, exactly like you see on the pictures. The swimming pool, which we had all by ourselves, was very big & clean. Our kids have spent hours in the pool. Our host passed by the house every day, to work in his garden & to clean the swimming pool (if needed). On a regular basis, we were given fresh fruits & eggs coming out of his garden, thank you so much for this!! In case of questions towards tips for local restaurants, cantinas & others, our lord gaves us great, local recommendations. We were unfortunate that during our stay, the biggest storm in decades, passed over the region. This caused blocked streets due to fallen trees & electricity which went out of service. Our lord has done everything which he could to help us & to make the situation as positive as possible (provided candles, lights, battery chargers for the phone). Luckily the electricity came back after the second day. Looking back on it, it was a great experience, sitting on the top of the hill in full darkness & silence. We can only recommend this location to other people, as we have had an amazing week in Montecastello!! I could see myself coming back. Grazie mille per tutto!!
