− Temizlik berbat seviyede, iletişim çok eksik ulaşmakta sıkıntı yaşadık. Odalar çok havasız, eşyalar eskimiş. Banyo perdesi bile yok heryer ıslanıyor. Ucuz malın yahnisi kötü oluyormuş

− Je suis très déçue par ce logement. À mon arrivée, l’appartement n’était clairement pas propre : il y avait des cheveux un peu partout, des taches sur les draps et j’ai eu l’impression qu’ils n’avaient pas été changés. Le ménage ne semblait pas avoir été fait correctement. De plus, l’hôte ne répondait pas à mes messages malgré les problèmes rencontrés. Il n’y avait pas d’eau chaude, aucune fenêtre, et le logement ne ressemblait pas du tout aux photos de l’annonce. L’expérience a donc été très décevante et je ne recommande malheureusement pas ce logement.

La chambre était parfaite: la propreté rien à dire, nous avons manqué de rien. De plus le bus est à 1min de l’établissement, beaucoup de choses à côté tels que des épiceries, la mer ou encore des restaurants.

Petit studio très confortable et bien situé à pointe aux canonniers. Les hôtes étaient réactifs, les indications claires. Très pratique pour passer quelques nuits dans ce quartier, l’appartement est très calme, de bons restaurants et les plages sont accessibles à pied. Merci pour l’accueil !

Due to constant power outages and a lack of assistance from host. It was inhabitable.

− Our stay at this property was extremely disappointing and ultimately cut short due to repeated power outages that made the accommodation uninhabitable. Within roughly a day and a half, the electricity cut out numerous times. Each outage left the property without lighting, air conditioning, or functioning appliances. In the heat, the lack of air conditioning made the environment extremely uncomfortable, and the repeated outages also caused food we had purchased and stored in the refrigerator to spoil. The situation was made significantly worse by the host’s lack of communication and support. We made multiple attempts to contact the host by phone and message while the outages were occurring, yet it took over 12 hours to receive any response. During this time we received no assistance or reassurance, leaving us to deal with the situation alone. When the host eventually responded, we were told that power outages are “normal” on the island and that no refund would be considered because this supposedly happens frequently. This explanation was misleading. My partner is Mauritian, and we also checked the CEB (Central Electricity Board) outage information for the area, which showed no planned outages at that time. Based on both local knowledge and the official outage information, the situation we experienced was clearly not normal. Due to the repeated outages, the extreme heat without air conditioning, and the complete lack of support from the host, the property became unsuitable to stay in and we had no choice but to leave and find alternative accommodation. We had to escalate the matter to Booking.com and even contact their support team through Twitter in order to receive assistance. Fortunately, once we returned from our holiday, Booking.com did ultimately issue a refund. However, the process was unnecessarily stressful and time-consuming.
