We think this hotel is a tourist scammer

No air condition and we stay during summer time. We slept at almost 30 degrees Celsius in the room.

− We were falsely accused of taking a wooden table from the hotel. As a result of this accusation, we had to leave our cruise and walk all the way back to the hotel to investigate the matter. Upon our arrival, we discovered that the “small wooden table” they referred to was, in fact, a large and substantial piece of furniture. It is inconceivable that anyone could have removed such an item without being noticed or carried it away during our stay. We have attached photographs of the table for reference. When we requested that the hotel provide the CCTV footage to verify the facts, the owners refused to disclose it. Instead, they claimed that we could have dismantled the table into small pieces and taken it away. This explanation is unreasonable, unsupported by any evidence, and appears to be nothing more than speculation. Despite making a serious allegation against us, the hotel failed to produce any evidence whatsoever to support its accusation. Nevertheless, they demanded approximately €1,000 as compensation for the alleged loss. Based on the hotel’s conduct—including making an unsupported accusation, refusing to provide CCTV footage, and demanding a substantial payment without evidence—we have serious concerns regarding the legitimacy of this claim. In our opinion, this appears to be an attempt to pressure tourists into paying money without proper proof. We strongly urge future guests to exercise extreme caution when dealing with this hotel. We also request that the relevant authorities investigate this matter to determine whether similar incidents have occurred involving other guests.

Difficult to find the entrance. Not getting enough help with check in process

Convenient location, walking distance from the cruise ship.

− Confusing entrance. We found the building and it took us 20 minutes to find out how to get in. There was no signage in the alley. It is at the back of a restaurant which makes it confusing. No signage of the hotel name on the door. Not sure which door we need to use as there are multiple doors. Most people don’t speak English there and it was difficult to get help. No set hours for receptionist was listed. We got there in the morning and had to left our luggage outside the reception door. We came back after lunch and reception area opens. I saw her leaving not long after giving us the room key. She was gone for the day apparently and the door remained locked. Not sure what happened to other guests if you arrive in the afternoon. The front door remained locked. If you lock yourself out, you are out of luck to get back in as there was no one there.

− Gastgarten unter den Zimmerfenster, Lärm bis 0:30 an Schlaf war nicht zu denken. Schade, ansonsten Zimmer dem Preis angemessen . Frühstück hat gepasst. Chefin sehr hilfsbereit
