Cactus Boralesgamuwa and the owner informed us that the apartment was fully booked. However, they arranged an alternative apartment for us at Cactus Piliyandala, which was acceptable to us.

− Mainly, the cleanliness of the apartment was extremely disappointing. The bathrooms were not properly cleaned, and even used soap had been left for us to use. There were spider webs all over the place, and the fans were covered in dust. Once the fans were switched on, the dust spread all over the beds and the room. As we checked in very late, we were unable to change the place at that time. This experience was honestly horrible and completely unacceptable. Considering the condition of the apartment and the poor hygiene standards, I would genuinely request a full refund, as this is far below an acceptable standard of stay.

We recently spent five days at Cactus Boralesgamuwa and had a wonderful stay. The apartment occupies the entire upper floor, with private access via an outdoor staircase. The host was incredibly helpful and accommodating, and the property itself was well-maintained and spacious. It’s conveniently located near public transportation and shops, which made getting around easy. The furniture throughout the house was high-quality and very comfortable, and we especially enjoyed the large outdoor area and balcony. On our last day, the host even surprised us with fresh king coconuts to enjoy before our departure, which was a lovely touch. We’re already looking forward to staying at Cactus again on our next trip to Sri Lanka, and we hope to stay a bit longer to fully enjoy this convenient location for traveling around Colombo.

Great place to spend some comfortable time

We stayed bit over a week with Cactus Boralesgamuwa. The apartment area is the full upper floor, with access via an outside staircase. The host was super helpful from the point of collecting the keys to checkout. The property is well maintained and spacious. Furniture throughout the house were of good quality and comfortable. All needed utensils were provided in the kitchen and throughout the house. Facilities that were mentioned in the description were all present and worked as expected. We also enjoyed the specious outside area/balcony.

− Shared garage, but it was enclosed which is a good thing. We had a small hatchback so it was manageable. If traveling with a bigger vehicle need to check with the host, The host is very accommodating so I am sure some arrangement can be made.

Surround this place jogging path around very nice lake and I really enjoyed during my stay.

There are so many cafes and restaurants near by this place and very easy to order or go an eat.Host is very friendly and helpful I really enjoyed. I can recommend anyone, excellent place to stay.

It's a beautiful house, exceptionally clean and tidy. The host was very helpful and kind. I loves that I was very close to the lake jogging track as well. And the nature was absolutely stunning. I would recommend to anybody that staying here is an amazing experience.
