5.0Mein Mann und ich waren Mitte März 6 Nächte im Bernique. Wir schließen uns sehr gerne den sehr guten Bewertungen bezüglich Ausstattung, Komfort, Lage, Sauberkeit unseres Raumes und Frühstücksservice an. Diesbezüglich fühlten wir uns sehr wohl.
− Ein für uns sehr wichtiger Kritikpunkt, weswegen wir unseren Aufenthalt in der Gesamtbewertung nur als passabel bewerten konnten: Das kleine Schildkrötenbecken, in dem 2 Riesenschildkröten dahinvegetieren, stinkt unerträglich. Dieses Becken, das direkt neben der Frühstücksterasse liegt, hat keinen für uns sichtbaren Ablauf, sodass die Ausscheidungen zu einer Jauche werden. Die Tiere müssen ihr Futter(Zweige mit Blättern, Brotreste und Obstschalen) aus dieser schäumenden Jauche fischen. Dies ist in unseren Augen Tierquälerei !! Die Managerin erklärte uns, der Inhalt des Beckens wäre Matsch, den die Schildkröten lieben. Der leere Trinkwassertopf müsse nur gefüllt werden. Bei erneutem Hinweis bei unserer Abreise war diese Dame weiterhin uneinsichtig. Ein junger Mitarbeiter, der dazu kam, versicherte uns jedoch, dass sie an diesem Problem etwas ändern müssten. Daher nochmal unsere dringende Bitte an das Guesthouse: Falls noch nicht geschehen, ändern Sie bitte die schlimmen Lebensbedingungen dieser wunderbaren Tiere! Unsere Bitte an kommende Gäste: Bitte habt Mut, Kritik zu äußern, falls keine Besserung eingetreten ist.

10.0Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt im Bernique Guest House auf La Digue und haben uns vom ersten Moment an sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Frühstück war hervorragend und ein perfekter Start in den Tag. Die Lage ist sehr gut und ideal, um La Digue zu erkunden. Die Einrichtung ist landestypisch und mehr als ausreichend, wodurch das Guest House einen authentischen und gemütlichen Charme hat. La Digue ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert und das Bernique Guest House können wir dafür uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

10.0Anna-Rose,Sylvania,Mary-Lisa and Isabel are all dedicated to achieving outstanding results.Hire a bicycle from this guesthouse and explore La Digue.Fantastic breakfast.I can recommend Rey and Josh takeaway nearby where Chef Rocky does a fabulous job of Creole cooking.

8.0The property is a nice little place ( vintage ) a bit too far away from the main beaches but good breakfast & there’s a grocery store right opposite.
− I felt it’s a bit overpriced for what you get , aircon wasn’t working too well & it’s very dark the rooms. Also bathrooms are a bit old & interiors are from the 90s
