The location is superb. The host made us feel welcome with constant updates and any questions asked, they were answered in no time. The rooms were bright and airy with airconditioning, ideal for those summery nights. The pool was well kept and clean. The shared areas were top notch, ample kitchen and living room space. We really liked the fact we had a washing machine and an outdoor area where to dry clothes.

− As mentioned in other reviews, the bathrooms with shower/bath, need a bit of TLC. The shared areas could do with some more fans or airconditioning as it gets hot easily.

The pool

− Everything else, dirty kitchen, toaster, sink, kettle, corroded and rusty fixtures in shower and bath, moulded tiles in same. Round shower with a square framed shower curtain so when you shower you fill everywhere with water. Very uncomfortable beds. Mice running around in the living room, practically spent a holiday with the mice which was very sad. Wasted more money on food deliveries as I was feeling disgusted to cook anything in there. Never again in there for sure, ruined my holiday and my birthday 😒

Ok, but needs a clean up.

We have been to Gozo/Malta three times and so the Geligiz Farmhouse was exactly as we expected. It is in the Maltese style and that means that to some it might look dated but in reality it is very traditional. Four large bedrooms with the main bedroom being up a circular staircase. Large outside balcony. It was a challenge to get large suitcases up there but we managed it. The other three bedrooms were on the middle floor, were also large and one has an ensuite. There is also a family bathroom on this floor as well. We didn't quite understand about the bath being a main attraction for the property because as far as we could see it was just a bath.The outside space where the pool is, has multiple chairs/sun loungers/tables etc. It has a lovely BBQ and a pool that is regularly cleaned every week. We were there when they serviced it. There are a few discoloured tiles on the bottom of the pool which is why some might think it looked dirty. It isn't - the water is clean, clear and safe. There is a projector to watch films on. Remember all your streaming service passwords. Also remember to log out of them when you go.The kitchen was very well equipped. There was numerous pots/ pans/plates/cutlery. The frying pans were well used but clean and probably better than the ones we have at home. Location is great. There is a bus stop directly outside the house - the 323 but it only goes once an hour and is a circular route so don't go looking for the bus stop on the opposite side of the road because there isn't one. Far more useful is if you turn left out of the house and walk one minute to the main Mgarr Road and then a further 50m up and there is the 301 bus stop. The number bus takes either straight into Victoria or straight down to the harbour every ten minutes. You can also walk down to the centre in 10 minutes. Go to Guiseppes Restaurant right next to the Cathedral. Very reasonable cost and high quality food.

− What could be improved on is:- The main bathroom just needs someone to bleach the tiles - it would take five minutes Some of the blankets just needed a bit more airing or put in the washing machine for 15 mins to freshen them. A mattress topper for the main bedroom. It was a little firm for us but others might feel it was ok.

Central area..but very quiet area
