5.0It was right in the heart of the small town of Weaverville and the hotel felt welcoming and personal.
− The matrasses were very firm. The furniture showed significant wear, and I understand the desire to maintain pieces from that time. However, the armchairs, sofa, and other seating need to be refurbished to ensure guests comfort. If that investment is not feasible, the hotel should consider updating the furnishings with alternatives that provide a more comfortable experience while still completing the propertys character. The rooms have poor insulation so we were lucky to have quiet neighbors.

10.0This was a beautiful historic hotel in downtown Weaverville, California. It is well kept and was very secure. It was obvious to me that a lot of hard work and thought went into this property.
− The very high end coffee machine in the lobby was hard for me to figure out. I didn’t even try. There was a Kurig brand coffee machine in the room. That is a pretty standard mainstream brand. Keep to one brand of the coffee machines.
