It was close to restaurants and shops. It was a big place, with some modern decor and facilities.

− There was a power tower right outside the main bedroom, which was noisy at night, and it smelled musty.

Location was brilliant. Just a short walk to the main drag of Tamborine. Cottage was super clean and well presented. The place has charm and character all through it. Was so quiet and peaceful. Host was easily contactable and pleasant to deal with. Not sure what other people are going on about, place was wonderful and will definitely go back again.

Host responsive and helpful. Location excellent.

− Property in serious need of general maintenance. Fallen down fence to start with doesn't give good impression upon arrival. The house has a very strong smell which is off-putting. General maintenance severely lacking, rubbish and excess items not required just left there. Plates in the cupboard were covered in mould as was a saucepan in the cupboard. Oven hotplates do not work accurately. Half the lights either don't work or are so dim they are pointless. Some windows are unable to be locked which doesn't provide much security. Screen door upon entry scrapes and doesn't open fully etc.

Wouldn’t recommend unless you are staying one night and not needing to spend much time in the place.

The location was central and close to my work conference venue. Easy check in.

− The garden was overgrown and was hard to access driveway - our SUV car didn’t fit in the “carport”. The front screen door didn’t open properly making it difficult to get our luggage in. The front door needed a lot of effort to pull closed. No wine bottle provided even though it was mentioned in the booking and in the confirmation. Most of the windows were left open and unable to close and lock. The towels looked dirty and felt rough. Found fake eyelashes in the single bed - unsure how clean the sheets were?
