La struttura è molto ben curata. Dentro la casa regna un’atmosfera di grande relax e di commistione con la natura. La struttura è dotata di ogni comfort possibile oltre alla sauna, la vasca dell’acqua calda, il camino è un patio estremamente accogliente. La posizione è favorevole ad avvistare l’aurora boreale in quanto la casa si trova a ridosso del fiume ghiacciato ed è priva di inquinamento luminoso circostante. Il proprietario è stato gentilissimo e super disponibile ad accogliere ogni nostra richiesta.

Great location in the middle of the nature, yet also very close to the center of Ivalo. The view from the house over the lake is really stunning.

Magical winter vacation in villa Karhukumpu

Jyrki is a wonderful host, he shared detailed instructions before arriving and also helped prepare the schedule of activities. He reserved the rides for us. Other than that we loved the villa, its location and amenities provided such as private Sauna, hot tub on the deck, Lappish Kota (hut) etc. The villa is very well equipped with lot of attention to the details such as provision of headlamps or electric socket converter for the international tourists.
− There was only one shower area and the bathrooms can be a bit bigger.

Amazing accommodation - great facilities, super clean and well stocked kitchen. Jryki was an amazing host - super friendly and accommodating. Our group especially enjoyed looking at the stars while in the hot tub, the sauna, the fireplace, and also the snowmobiling tour provided by Jryki. We would love to come back one day :)

Staying in the log house by the river was such a wonderful experience — peaceful, cozy, and surrounded by nature’s beauty. The hot tub & the sauna are the highlights. A complete kitchen — everything’s there for cooking comfortably.
