A lovely cottage for spending time in nature
9.0This was a fantastic cottage right next to Wicken Fen Nature Reserve. The location was perfect for wildlife enthusiasts - we saw marsh harrier, barn owls, water voles, kestrel, cuckoo, roe and muntjac deer, amongst others. The cottage was comfy and well equipped for a small family. The owner lives next door and was friendly and easy to contact.
− The finishings could be improved in places, but it was clean and comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay.

10.0The property was clean, very well equipped, the beds were super comfy and we enjoyed a very comfortable stay, lovely little enclosed garden for the dog too. Owner kept in contact to ensure arrival instructions were clear. Thanks for a short but lovely stay. 😊

− The stairs to the first floor were very very steep, needed a solid handrail and the only bathroom and lavatory were downstairs.
