10.0I had an amazing stay at Extra Traveller Hostel in Aqaba and honestly couldn’t recommend it more. The people here are what truly make this place special. Everyone is incredibly kind, warm, and genuinely helpful. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable from the moment you arrive. They also give great tips on where to go and how to get there, which made exploring Aqaba so much easier. I initially booked 2 nights but ended up extending for 6 more because the place feels so homey and comfortable. It’s really hard to leave once you’re here. This is honestly the cleanest and coziest hostel I have ever stayed in. I don’t usually stay in hostels. I prefer own unit or bedroom but this one completely changed my impression — it’s on a different level. I stayed for 8 nights in total, and one thing that really stood out was how clean everything is. Every morning, I would see Saif sweeping, mopping, cleaning, and even washing the sheets. You can really be assured that the sheets are washed after every guest because I personally saw them doing it. The bathrooms are also spotless, always dry, fresh, and regularly checked throughout the day. Another lovely touch is the free sweets (dates but they kept on giving me chocolates)and unlimited tea. It may seem small, but it creates such a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. And a special mention to the playful and sweet kitten in the outdoor rest area. Such a cute added touch that made my stay even more enjoyable. If you’re coming to Aqaba and looking for a clean, friendly, and welcoming place to stay, this is definitely it. I would absolutely stay here again.
