10.0The house was comfortable, warm and well-equipped, with an interesting mix of furniture & decoration that added to the ambience. Its location was good, with only a 15 min mostly flat walk to the centre of town. The weather wasn’t such that I could sit out, but there is a nice garden with seating. I was very happy with the house and would readily come back if I came to Stamford again. Thank you! Stamford itself is lovely - beautiful old buildings in Cotswold stone, interesting selection of independent and other shops & some great restaurants - I had a wonderful Sunday lunch in The Slanted Door.
