− Facilities all good, a small freezer would be a great advantage especially in summer months.
Falls a Little Short
6.0It was very clean on arrival and beautifully cool given the very hot weather. More spacious than expected. Lots of leaflets for days out. Good WiFi connection. Easy to find and enter The main bedroom was big and the bed comfortable. Good sized kitchen with plenty of plates, cups etc. Good to have Netflix.
− The mattresses on the single beds were very worn and soft and not comfortable. Some slats in the bed base kept falling out and seemed very worn and too flexible. These beds are only really suitable for children. The pillows had seen better days too. There wasn't the usual info folder so we weren't sure about things like bin days or how to have a hot shower as it turned out there was a hot water tank which needed to be turned on in advance. I never did find the grey bin outside as suggested on the note on the windowsill. The Booking.com info showed a picture of a washing machine but there wasn't one. There wasn't anywhere to hang damp clothing after a day on the beach for it to dry or for towels once used. Lucky for me my daughter lives nearby so she was able to take care of that otherwise we'd have struggled.

10.0The cottage was very welcoming on arrival with lamps lit and fresh flowers. It is well furnished and everything needed for either a long or short stay. we were sorry we couldn't stay longer. Despite being next to the railway line and not far from the main road there was hardly any noise could be heard from either. It was interesting watching the passengers boarding and alighting the trains!
