8.0Beautiful decor stylish and comfortable
Comfortable and convenient stay for ferry crossing.
8.0Stayed for one night prior to our early morning ferry from Rosslare Harbour and an easy and quick drive to the harbour. We were warmly welcomed by Michael who showed us our very pleasant room and told us about the bathroom etc. Our room was at the front of the house and there was some road noise in the evening but was very quiet at night. The bathroom was large and the shower was excellent.
− The towels were rather thin and not very absorbent.

9.0Perfect Location for a restful night. This is the third time we have stayed in Applelea House. It is perfect location having driven from West Clare to have a good night's sleep before getting up early for the 08.15 Stenna sailing to Fishguard. Generous supply of calming 'Pukka' organic herbal teas and excellent Irish Lyons tea for morning cupper before early departure.
− The room was a little musty - couldn't work out why - we were in a different room from the one stayed in previously. But, this wont stop us staying again at Applelea house!!
