This is the most beautiful home, with spectacular views and a fantastic outdoor area and pool. Easy to find, no dirt roads to navigate. Ruben was a real pleasure to deal with and his parents were very accommodating and helpful and the house is kept immaculately clean. Plenty of cooking utensils and crockery and cutlery. Plenty of clean towels and bedding provided. Everything you might need for cooking. Limited English TV channels; that doesn’t bother us but might some. There is little in Corumbela (which is what we prefer) but we found a delightful restaurant in Árchez (Venta el Curro) a short 5 minute drive away. Food was delicious and portions HUGE and very reasonably priced. Rustic and authentic and wonderful service. Competa is only a 15 minute drive away and there are plenty of bars and restaurants and a couple of well stocked supermarkets there. 30/35 minutes drive to Torre del Mar and the beach and lots of nice shopping here. We love this area of the world and visit at least once a year. This home is a diamond find and we would love to return in the future. A thoroughly enjoyed and chilled out holiday.

− No air conditioning. When we arrived at the end of June, Spain was at the start of a heatwave and it was swelteringly hot. Due to the design of the house it does keep somewhat cool but still quite stifling at night. Floor fans were provided which helped a little. As mentioned in previous reviews, the bed in the master bedroom is rather uncomfortable. Could maybe do with a soft mattress topper? However, neither of the above spoilt our holiday.

Very clean well equipped and cosy house. The sun shines all day at the pool area. Good sized pool. Extremely private since there are no neighbours. Great view. The village is small and beautiful, the grocery store had a good selection of everything you could ever need. Nobody speaks a half word of english though.

− The only restaurant in the village was the worst ever. We ordered pizza and it turned out to be frozen from the local grocery. Dogs were barking all night long. Bees made it impossible to eat outside during the daytime.

The villa has everything you need, it's clean and tidy, it's very private and quiet. No added charges at the end of the hire, which was refreshing.

− The main double bed we found very uncomfortable, there isn't much in the village. I couldn't find any english tv stations on the tv.
