9.0Victoria Lodge is a wonderfully welcoming place. The owners are extremely friendly, helpful, and create a lovely family‑oriented atmosphere, which makes the stay feel relaxed and comfortable.The house has a cosy, spacious lounge with beautiful views, perfect for unwinding at the end of the day. The dining area is large and airy, so even when it’s busy, it never feels crowded.Breakfast is tasty and served with care, and the on‑site parking is a great convenience.A charming highlight is the friendly cat, who jumps onto your knees straight away and greets guests like old friends. The whole place is definitely pet‑friendly, ideal for anyone travelling with animals.

7.0the staff were very nice, the breakfast on offer was very good, and would recommend, the bed in the room was comfortable.
− the room was advertised as a double with sea view, should be a small double, there was not a lot of room at all, the description of the room listed a lot of things that were not in the room ie, hair dryer, iron, even the toiletries shown in pictures were not there, we had open, used, and nearly empty handwash and shower wash, the shower curtain was black, mouldy, the shower rail was rusty, the sink was dirty, there was dirt in the light fittings, and the light above sink didn't work. the white bed linen had stains on it. overall disappointed for the price.
We were just spending the weekend driving around the island and Lisa told us some nice places to visit.
9.0The staff were very nice and very friendly and we had everything we wanted. A very good cooked breakfast and plenty of other choices if we required. Made us feel very welcome.

Hostess could not have been more helpful. We would definitely return here.

− Hot water was a bit hit & miss guessing long dead legs, but used shower to obtain hot water to basin.
