Perfect location for what we wanted to do. Peaceful and relaxing. The staff were friendly and the food in the pub next door was beautiful

Accommodation was suitable for our needs and was very roomy even for a party of seven. The views were sensational. The pub next door is very cosy, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. It is definitely recommended if you need a detox from everyday life and it is a great place to unwind. Would highly recommend.

− Nothing much bad to say about here really, maybe that the nearest supermarket is a 25 minute drive away, that being the co-op, but that's not really their fault.

Exceeded our expectations! We were so happy with the lodge, plenty of space and the kitchen waswell equipped. The beds were comfy, and the place was lovely and cosy. Fabulous location in the Eskdale valley, and we love the woolpack pub next door. Super friendly staff who were very helpful.
