The location was good (despite the steep road) and quiet. The rooms were spacious.

− We were really disappointed with this stay. The home was absolutely freezing on arrival and it took all night to warm up the space. I could not get comfortable or sleep well. We used the gas heaters, in addition to the heat pumps, on arrival, but did not want to leave them running overnight. The bathroom is downstairs so it was very daunting to get out of bed and go downstairs in the freezing cold during the night or brush your teeth in the morning. Moreover, the onsen was lukewarm at best (even when following the instructions to heat it up). The cups and mugs were plastic. Note that my husband and I lived in old Japanese apartments for years so we are used to their quirks and shortcomings, but this was more than we could handle.

清掃は行き届いていて清潔でした。 必要なものは概ね用意されていて特に不便はなかったです。 周辺環境は静かで、鳥のさえずりが心地よく素敵でした。 スープバーが充実していて、プレゼントのスパークリング日本酒も嬉しかったです。

− とにかくお風呂がぬるい。温泉を謳うには乏しすぎる湯量で、ちょろちょろと微かに流れているだけなのでどんどん冷めてとても温泉だけでは湯船を満たせません。なので備え付けのお湯でかさ増ししなくてはなりませんが、こちらのお湯が５０度前後なので、いくら足し湯を重ねても熱々のお風呂にはなりません。季節が冬じゃなくて本当に良かったです、風邪ひきます。 せっかく用意されているランドリールームも、全く乾かない環境なので残念でした。サーキュレーターや除湿機などをぜひ置いておかれるとよいと思いました。 テレビでhuluやAbemaが観られるようなことが施設案内ブックに書いてありますが、説明が少なさすぎて結局見ることができませんでした。もう少し丁寧な解説があったらよかったです。
