I woukd stay here again the location cannot be beat

− It was super hot and the AC didn’t work. Owner did replace the unit but it needed an outside vent so it didn’t help.

After accepting my booking and taken full payment both the apartment owner and booking.com stopped responding to my messages and attempts at contact. I arrived in Amsterdam and took it upon myself to call the owner as the app gave me his phone number BECAUSE I HAD A BOOKING. Owner wasn’t interested, said he already had people staying and to call booking.com. I spent 2 hours on the phone to booking.com they blamed the owner, he blamed them. Either way, admitted it wasn’t my fault at all but that they could do nothing to help. Refused to let me speak to a colleague who could as I was now in another country with nowhere to stay. I had to sort other accommodation myself and find the funds as my refund for this property would take 10 days. Given an email to report a complaint to and again booking.com continue to ignore my request to have my complaint responded to and have not bothered to respond to my messages at all. BUT are sending me daily emails to rate this apartment so here it is and maybe someone will actually respond to me now.
