Great location, property and facilities.
9.0Great location and view of the canal from the property’s window. Close to train station. Very clean and well decorated, some lovely features like marble fireplace and corniced ceiling. Coffee machine was very welcome and small fridge available to store some items. On arrival met by host who was very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area, giving us some local recommendations.
− Wasn’t anything we didn’t like but would have been nice to have somewhere to put shower gel / shampoo / conditioner etc close to the shower, a full length mirror and some additional storage for T-shirts and smaller items of clothing.
Greal location within easy walking distance to transport and the city. David was an excellent host.

8.0Excellent location along one of the main Canal of the city, in the heart of Jordaan. At a walking distance from the main attractions (central station, Dam square, Museums).
− Small room with very basic furniture. Not equipped for the tropical temperature of this summer time (Just a fan to fight the exceptional wave of hot that is hitting Europe now). This was not foreseeable by anyone of course…

9.0The location was superb, and it was amazing to stay in an authentic house on a canal. Good facilities, nice comfy bed and David was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
− Only criticism I have is that we didn’t have a view of the canal, which was very disappointing! Our view was of a dark storage area, which on one hand was ok as our stay was during a heatwave, but also frustrating as we had assumed we’d have a canal view.
