Almost everything you could possibly need was in the apartment, from chopsticks to USB charging ports. The kindness and attention shown to us by the owners was lovely, making us feel like visiting family. They were very close-by should we need help with anything and spoke excellent English. There was information and some vouchers for nearby attractions in the apartment, and with the motorway so close the choice of destinations were endless, with so many sights, towns and cities within an hour drive. Phantasialand was only 15 minutes away by car, with €8 carpark fee per day when we got there. The apartment was immaculately clean, and very spacious. The children shared a spacious twin room with a large smart TV and the other room of equal size had the same, but with a king-sized bed made up of two singles. The balcony with sun-lounge furniture was ideal for sitting out on, with a book in the evenings and a visiting hedgehog below in the yard each night. A selection of boardgames and playing cards that were on the shelves were a delightful break from been stuck on a TV screen at night. All necessities were within a ten minute walking distance, including supermarkets, the Catholic Church, marketplace, pubs, a delicious traditional restaurant, Asian restaurants, cafés and an irresistible ice cream, waffle and crepe café. A lovely park walkway followed a river around the village centre with plenty of wildlife, including a turtle, Nutria, fish and ducks but to mention a few that we saw. With our own private parking space visible from our balcony we had great peace of mind with our rented car. Local people, and those we spoke to in nearby Bonn, Cologne and even Dusseldorf were friendly and even patient with us as we tried to use and learn German, especially with our children. Many people spoke English or enough to be helpful with information or medications when needed.

− The only thing we noticed missing was a microwave but the oven did the job for us, as we were not stuck for time.

Liebe Petra, lieber Warner, wir waren am Wodhenende 05.06-07.06.2026 als gehörlose Gäste in lem Fehlo Loft und haben uns sehi wahgefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist wirklich toll und seht gemütlich. Es wat alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Wir kannten wunderbar schlafen, entspannen und die Zeit geniesen. Deshall korsmen wir schr geme Wieder. Die Raume sind seht schön, modern und hell gestaltet. Wir hatten auch eine taubblinde Freundin dabei. Alles hat problemlos funktionient und war barrierefei, sodass sie sich ebenfalls sehi wohlgefühlt hat. We had a wonderful stay at this lovely apartment. It’s beautifully and tastefully decorated. Everything you could possibly need is provided, and the beds are exceptionally comfortable. The owners were very kind and attentive. We truly felt at home and would happily stay here again.

Het was een fantastisch verblijf! Wij zijn met het gezin naar Phantasialand gegaan en daar is het 15 minuten vandaag. We werden hartelijk ontvangen door onze host: Petra. Ze heeft ons alles uitgelegd en in de koelkast stond een fles bubbels op ons te wachten. Alles was aanwezig: toiletpapier, doekjes, kaarsjes enz. Het is een zeer gezellig en knus stulpje! De bedden lagen heerlijk. Dank je wel voor alle goede zorgen en dat wij mochten verblijven in jouw heerlijke woning!
