We absolutely loved our stay here at Namknong view. I think we were a bit lucky to be in a newly renovated (or added) room. So it felt clean and fresh. It was simple but still had all the features one could need (fan, AC, power outlets, desk and shared fridge) and the bathroom was nice and clean as well. The most special part was of course the beautiful view over the river and space to sit and soak in the view. The owner was very kind too.

− There were a few teeeny ants about the place, but honestly the island is full of them and they were everywhere we went (including cafes and restaurants), so just something to be mindful of but rather unavoidable and not anyone's fault.

Beautiful sunset, great location, clean newly refurbished room, bike rental is reasonably priced, friendly hosts.

− The hosts were busy refurbishing the rooms, the restaurant wasn’t open during our stay, so we didn’t have chance to try their yummy food.

The location is perfect for watching the sunset, with beautiful views in the evening.

− Here's a natural English version of your review: Many basic services were missing during our stay: No room cleaning at all. Staff only entered the room to change the towels and empty the trash after we specifically asked, but they didn't even make the bed. No complimentary water. No coffee replenishment. No shower soap provided. This was despite the fact that we stayed for 4 nights. We also asked about a 30-minute trip in a small local canoe, and were quoted USD 20, while local agencies were offering similar tours for around €14. The bicycles available were also in poor condition. The room rate is reasonable, but if you're looking for a minimum level of comfort and plan to stay more than 2 nights, I would recommend paying €5 more elsewhere. At least you'll get basic housekeeping and better service.
