Good value with great staff but awkward access.
8.0The location is brilliant - you fall out the front door and you’re virtually on the Rambla, with the famous Boqueria Market just a few steps away. Despite this, our room was very quiet and we slept well. Great shower! And the hotel staff were friendly. Breakfast is included and it was excellent - you collect a token from reception and then have the choice of a few dishes in the friendly restaurant two doors down. We were pleasantly surprised - hotel breakfasts are never usually a high point!
− Access might be an issue for many. Entrance from the street is via a narrow, winding stair case. There’s then a lift from the first floor to the rooms. It was quite a deal getting our luggage in from the street. The room was small and the beds shorter than normal but we were comfortable nonetheless
