Schönes Agriturismo mit leider vielen Abstrichen
5.0Wir hatten eine Suite mit 2 Schlafzimmern, die wirklich sehr geräumig war. Der Pool ist sehr schön und hat eine traumhafte Aussicht auf den Ätna. Das Frühstück ist für italienische Verhältnisse sehr gut und reichlich, allerdings süß-lastig. Wir aßen nur am ersten Tag (zu Mittag) im hauseigenen Restaurant, das ausgezeichnet war und ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis bot. Das Personal bzw. die Besitzer (wenn man sie antraf) waren sehr höflich und nett. Relativ gute Ausgangslage für den Besuch von Taormina, dem Strand, dem Ätna von der Nordseite und der Alcantara-Schlucht (alles 30-40 min entfernt).
− Im Zimmer fehlten Details wie Haken bzw. Gelegenheit, nasse Badesachen oder Handtücher aufzuhängen oder ein Mülleimer in geeigneter Größe. Die Jalousien in einem der beiden Schlafzimmer waren kaputt und wurden auch auf Nachfrage nicht repariert (wir waren 4 Nächte dort und reklamierten am 2. Tag). Lange schlafen konnte man daher durch das frühe Licht nicht wirklich. Die Liegen am Pool waren teilweise kaputt und schmutzig, die Außendusche funktionierte nicht. Wir hätten gerne öfter in Restaurant gegessen oder den ausgezeichneten eigenen Wein getrunken, aber fanden heraus, dass das Restaurant nur Freitag bis Sonntag offen hat. Im Allgemeinen gibt es wenig bis gar keine Info zu Öffnungszeiten, W-Lan, Ausflügen, etc., außer man fragt aktiv nach. Es scheint, als wären Hausgäste nicht besonders willkommen. Schade, denn aus dem wunderschönen Gebäude könnte man so viel mehr machen und anbieten. Zumindestens die Gelegenheit, sich aus einem Kühlschrank mit Getränken zu bedienen, während man am Pool ist. Es gibt den ganzen Tag nichts zu kaufen; weder Getränke noch Speisen; man trifft generell kaum jemanden an. Der nächste Supermarkt ist knappe 10 min mit dem Auto entfernt. Das Agriturismo scheint sehr verlassen. Wir waren außer einer Familie, die die letzten beiden Nächte auch da war, die einzigen Gäste. Am ersten Tag waren drei italienische Familien zum Mittagessen da und nutzten danach den Pool. Das würden wir das nächste Mal auch so machen, statt dort zu nächtigen. Sehr schade, denn das Gebäude wäre prädestiniert für einen schönen Aufenthalt, wenn man etwas mehr Herzblut investieren würde.

10.0Het is hier werkelijk prachtig. Heel mooi gelegen tussen de wijngaarden en dichtbij de Etna. Ook een fijn zwembad! Heel aardige eigenaar en personeel. Heerlijk ontbijt en diner. En ook de wijnen van Scilio zijn heerlijk. Mooie ruime kamer, veel handdoeken en badhanddoeken. Alles is met zorg gedaan.

10.0The most amazing place - we stayed two nights and celebrated my birthday there. The place is so special - old building with history, view to Etna, a huge and impressive wine cellar. Luisa and her staff were amazing - we did a wine tasting and got a nice tour with interesting wine and storytelling. We had an outstanding surprise dinner for the celebration.
