Heerlijk rustige vakantie op een heel aangename plek

De locatie is geweldig... een grote en mooi verzorgde tuin met heel veel bomen die aangename schaduwplekjes creëren tijdens de heetste momenten. De door groen omgeven tuin zorgt voor voldoende privacy en bovenop de heuvel staat een zachte wind die een paar graden verkoeling brengt op hete dagen. Het mooi overdekte en grote terras incl. tafel met stoelen en een loungeset is mooi afgescheiden van de andere appartementen zodat je elkaar niet constant voor de voeten loopt. Het appartement is mooi onderhouden, proper en voorzien van alle gemakken, op een piepend bed en enkele ontbrekende spulletjes in de keukenla na maar ach dat neem je er maar bij in Bella Italia. Onze gastheer Maico was de vriendelijkheid zelve en altijd bereikbaar indien nodig, je ziet hem vrijwel iedere dag rondlopen op de boerderij. De schapen, kippen, 2 supervriendelijke honden en een kat kan je ook iedere dag eens gaan bekijken. In de buurt liggen op vrij korte afstand oa het mooie stadje Aquapendente, Orvieto, het meer van Bolsena met de stadjes Bolsena en Montefiascone en als aanrader het spectaculaire Civita Bagnoregio. Rome is vanuit Orvieto ook goed te bereiken via het spoor.

− Eigenlijk is er niks tegengevallen... Een paar ontbrekende kleine keukenspullen zoals oa een broodrooster, een knoflookpers,... die het leven wat gemakkelijker of aangenamer zouden gemaakt hebben maar langs de andere kant rustig de tijd kunnen nemen om je brood op een andere manier te grillen of met een mesje je knoflook fijn snijden daar draait vakantie toch ook om.
