Unbearable in a heatwave
4.0Good location in Islington. A few bus stops nearby that can take you to the major train stations.
− I know it's London - it's an old city and air conditioning is hard to come by. But there wasn't even a fan in our room. The blinds in the room were left open when we arrive but there was a black leather sofa in the room which absorbed all the heat and it was like a radiator in the room. It was impossible to get any air into the room at night even with the windows open and having the blinds closed all day, so we had to keep our bedroom door open which was super invasive considering the bathroom was right across the call. Didn't feel safe or secure having to do this, but it was impossible to sleep otherwise. Difficult enough anyways because the floorboards are extremely squeaky and we were woken up any time someone had to go to the bathroom.
All I all a pleasant experience.
8.0Loved the location right next to 'Cally'park which also has a small café.Close to shops and restaurants,easy to get buses to and from Kings cross station . Rooms very clean with shared bathroom and kitchen with a small garden .

Cheap & cheerful
7.0Property is well located to bus and tube stops. We love the area as its really community based and local cafes are superb. The queen room didnt include a queen bed- bit misleading! The sofa was well worn and the carpet wasnt the cleanest but we enjoyed the additional space in the room. The bathroom on the top floor again could do with a good scrub- maybe a big deep clean. The towels had some discolouration which honestly wasnt pleasant and does really make a difference to me, i know they are clean but it doesnt feel clean. For shared accommodation we found it quiet and very comfortable and for the money in peak season, honestly you cant complain. Honestly if there was just a bit of investment into a good deep clean once a month or so id pay a fair bit more for a place like this!
