7.0Nice location, stone throw from shore. Facilities were in working order. Plenty of towels, equipment, store cupboard items and utensils available for use.
− Dirty laundry was left at front door from previous occupant. Same washing left out on line throughout our whole stay. Bathroom was in clean order, but quite dated.
It was perfect for our use. The location was excellent. Pro was very helpful and it had everything.

Very enjoyable stay. The cottage is very near the beach and the Royal Oak which is great for drinks/meals

Superb Cullen Cottage, with vintage Charm!!
9.0Beautifully located Seaside cottage!. Great Kitchen for cooking your own foods and loved that cupboards were not bare of essentials or little bits that others had left behind for us to use. Location was fabulous for getting to walks east and west along the coasts. The communication from the owner was fantastic and ease of checking in what you wanted.
− Little bit dated but added to the character. A wee upgrade of outside camp seats or something to make use of the sunshine when it was there.
Loved Cullen, but wouldn’t stay in this cottage again.

− You expect a certain level of cleanliness. This cottage was well below standard. If you require your guests to strip their beds, I would suggest you use mattress protectors and pillow protectors. The pillows have sweat stains and single bed mattresses marked. Single bed mattresses not comfortable. The whole cottage in need of a deep clean and decorated. Decor tired and dated. There was even food behind TV. The washing machine has black mould on the rubber. Not a clean mirror in the cottage. Won’t go into the bathroom as the photos will explain.
