It is a peaceful, tranquil, cozy cottage. A place to get away from it all and just relax and enjoy nature. Good walking trails on the property and lots of birds. We had everything we needed. Bed was comfortable. Nice fireplace in the living room. They supply the firewood. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this cottage.

The cottage is nestled in the most breathtaking indigenous forest. It provided a much-needed quiet sanctuary surrounded by nature and t's creatures. The forest is literally alive with wildlife, remember to take binoculars and bird / tree guides along. However the highlight of our stay was the walking trails that we could take the dogs on. I think they might have enjoyed it more than us. Remember to check for ticks when returning from the long walk!

Klipinniebos Nature Farm is pure magic! From the moment I arrived, I knew I had found a hidden gem - a true sanctuary where peace and tranquillity reign supreme. If you’re looking to escape the chaos of everyday life, this is the place to be. Nestled high up in the mountains, this place offers the ultimate getaway for those seeking solitude, fresh air, and breathtaking natural beauty. The only sounds you’ll hear are the whispers of the wind and the gentle rustling of trees -exactly what I needed to simply be still and breathe. The accommodations were comfortable, with every little detail carefully thought out. I wanted for nothing! Just a small tip: since it’s so secluded, be sure to stock up on all your meal essentials and snacks before making the journey up - once you’re there, it's quite a way to stock up! Exploring the trails on the property was an absolute highlight! Every path led to something new - stunning views, fascinating natural wonders, and little surprises around every bend. It’s the kind of place that keeps calling you back, and I will definitely be returning. A massive thank you to Lisa, the most wonderful host! She made sure my stay was nothing short of perfect and shared her little piece of paradise with such warmth and generosity. If you’re craving a peaceful, soul-refreshing escape, do yourself a favour and visit Klipinniebos Nature Farm. You won’t regret it!

Magical unforgettable 10 year anniversary long weekend break away, loved Klipinnibos :)

We absolutely loved the whole experience, it was a retreat for our 10 year wedding anniversary, and I honestly could not have asked for more. The house is a beautifully kept and decorated old house build with rocks which made it wonderfully cool inside. The bed slept like a dream, I loved all the small details in the house and outside as well. The kitchen has everything you can need and more. The boma area outside also has everything you need, we loved spending time by the fire and listening to the night sounds of the forest. The stoop looks out on the forest which is alive with bird song during the day, we even saw a Purple Crested Turaco! The bushbabies "send" us quite a few avocadoes down the tree at night :) We enjoyed the trail up to the mountain where there were magnificent views. The trails at the bottom of the property were also beautiful, we marveled at the old and huge trees and loved all the effort that was put into making places to sit on the trail. If the toll gates and petrol were not so expensive from Pretoria we would have definitely made it a yearly thing. Thank you Lisa you were the perfect host and it was nice meeting you and your two furkids, even though you make a point of keeping them in your yard as to not bother the guests :)
