7.0Very friendly welcoming family and a delicious dinner and breakfast. Tea and coffee and biscuits in the room as well as bottled water.
− Difficult to find, with no other infrastructure or shops. Take what you need as there is not much in that area. Mosquitos are an issue.

5.0if you want something outside of the beaten track, far away from people this is the place for you. open bamboo hut at the beach front was very relaxing and calm.
− if you are staying in an open bamboo hut please be prepared that during the night you can experience some wild life... I had a fox (?) coming to my hut looking for a dinner leftovers. it wasn't comfortable during the night in a hut without walls despite the animal being very friendly.. Bit overpriced for what you get, also the food. food was good but nothing special for Indo standards. The owners using the fact that there is nothing around so you cannot go and eat outside

Secluded paradise. Relaxing.
9.0it is a deserted piece of paradise. no wifi is part of that, there is only 3 hours of power per night so you can see the stars, and quickly charge your Phone. In the absence of a refrigerator, the meals are really fresh and often vegetarian. very affordable too and you get free drinking water. daisy is a super hostess , mother and cook. mark knows a lot about surfing.
− Getting there is a fuss. There are busses leaving from the busstation next to the central market Waingapu (one round 6;00 and a few midday busses) but they are irregular and take hours. Mark and Daisy can help you. There are no motorcycles for rent in Baing so you are a bit pinned down. But that's very relaxing!

10.0Our stay at the Sumba Adventure Resort was very good, the people wo werk here are super friendly and try to help you out as much as possible and besides that are very social. Breakfast was included and for a good price you can get dinner at the accomodation aswell wich was very delicious each time. If you want to do some activities it's possible aswell, just ask the staff.
− The location is a bit remote wich has it's downsides but definitely his upsides too. Don't expect the best internet connection, running water and electricity 24/7. If you don't need this luxury I would definitely recommend Sumba Adventure Resort.
