Good overall, but bathroom is bad and the apartment desperately needs a better AC/ventilation.

− It was too warm and AC wasn't enough to cool down the room. Bathroom lacks any ventilation and the window is positioned awkwardly which made it difficult to keep fresh.

8.0Eine schöne Lage nah am Michaelsberg mit seiner herrlichen Aussicht auf die Stadt. Gut gelegen auch zum fußläufigen Erkunden der historischen Altstadt (Weltkulturerbe). Mit dem Biergarten vor der Tür und dem Restaurant zu Füßen habe ich dennoch zwei sehr ruhige und erholsame Nächte verbracht. Schlüsselübergabe und Einweisung verliefen vollkommen unkompliziert, freundlich und unaufdringlich.
− Haus, Apartment und Einrichtung sollten nicht mehr allzu lange auf eine gründliche Sanierung warten müssen. Für Personen mit körperlichen Beeinträchtigungen könnten der hohe Einstieg in die Dusch-Wanne und die steile Stiege in den ersten Stock zu einem Problem werden. Durch die vielen Baustellen in der Altstadt ist derzeit die Anfahrt zum Einhornkeller ziemlich "tricky" bis kompliziert - aber dafür kann ja die Unterkunft nichts.

9.0An excellent base for exploring Bamberg - an easy 10 minute walk away. A comfortable place to return to with an excellent beer cellar and restaurant underneath. What’s not to like? The owner Alex has a number of plates spinning in the area but is friendly and helpful. The staff at his restaurant are lovely. It was a memorable stay - despite the building work to repair the roof on the 500 year old building!
