8.0Modern, clean, bright 2 room cottage with modern shower room. Right on the edge of the park.
− The mattress was not very comfortable and you could feel the springs. Could do with a new one. Apart from this it was great.
Nice little cottage
8.0Nice little cottage, useful location for trips around the Peak District. The cottage was nice and warm for our arrival, and had reasonable facilities. The bed is a little bigger than a regular double bed
− Cottage itself was a little hard to find, you need to follow signs for cottage parking, it’s down there you will find the Stable Cottage specifically. It had an EV charger which was nice, but extremely expensive to use at 75p per kWh for an overnight 7kW charger, which was also difficult to use (the charger has a QR code on its screen, but you need to ignore that and use one of the lower QR Codes on the machine, it’s also located in an awkward corner of the car park). Motorway rapid chargers are cheaper and faster, so next time I’ll take my petrol car instead. There are also no plug sockets near the sofa so charging your phone whilst watching TV isn’t possible.
