2.0− I chose this place because of the location, as it was close to the activities I had planned for the days I was staying there. One hour before I arrived, the host surprised me with the news that the property was unavailable due to an issue with the water heater, so they assigned me a different location instead. The new place was located above some Japanese restaurants and smelled bad all the time. It was also a 20-minute journey from where I originally planned to stay, which was a real problem. Since I wasn't able to get a refund, I had to stay there—especially considering I arrived in London late at night and it was impossible to find somewhere else to rest.

− Een week voor vertrek bleek de afgesproken locatie niet voor 4 personen te zijn en werden we overgeplaatst naar een andere plek die volgens de verhuurder wel toegankelijk was voor 4, met twee kamers. Bij aankomst een onveilige buitendeur en entredeur. Wasmachine en wasdroger met vuile was draaide nog, het stonk, geen brandveiligheid, geen goed afsluitbare voordeur, kasten vielen uit elkaar, 1 tweepersoonsbed, 1 eenpersoonsbed en een aangeschoven luchtbed, keuken vies en 1 tafeltje met twee klapstoeltjes, beslagen ramen en slecht klimaat in de ruimte. Onverantwoord om met 4 personen te zijn, en eigenlijk helemaal onverantwoord om hier te verblijven. We hebben een andere overnachting gezocht en de verhuurder gebeld date de ruimte niet accepteerde
