Not worth it
2.0The chalet was lovely and cosy, bigger than we expected and Velika Planina was beautiful.
− However for us it was not worth the stress of actually getting to it and the checking in process. It wasn't clear at all how to get to the property. We booked this as it said there was free public parking nearby, however the nearest car park we found was over 3km away and cost 12 euros. So after driving around for an hour, we the. had to walk an hour with all our stuff and food to find the water there wasn't even drinkable. This was suppose to be our treat night of our trip away, and caused way more confusion and stress than it was worth, next time we'd stay in a town nearby and just visit in a different way.

A wonderful authentic experience, would definitely visit again!
10.0The location is wonderful, right in the middle of alpine pastures: you can see cows walking and peacefully grazing right out of the window. You can either rest in the garden in the lounge chairs, reading or absorbing nature, or hike, explore the magnificent surroundings, try local food, and hear about the shepherds' old customs.
− The door openings in the chalet are quite low, so taller people have to beware not to smack their heads while roaming about - the chalet is very charming nonetheless and built traditionally so it all makes sense :)

10.0Location is beautiful , hosts are more than amazing . wanted to go out of thair way just to please us . There was hot water on location for us to shower wich was unexpected for me due to location . Stay was just amazing.

10.0Wonderful experience in Velika Planina! The hosts were very caring and gave us all the instructions to reach the chalet and prepare the necessary things for the stay. Also, they responded promptly to any request.
− The kitchen, especially the electric stove, needs some renovation.
The property is only reachable via cable car. Free public parking can be found at Kamniška Bistrica near the cable car station.
