Fabulous views
9.0We had a lovely stay in this charming townhouse in the heart of the old town. The location is excellent, right in the centre and within easy walking distance of plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants. The accommodation was very comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. The terrace and rooftop terrace were real highlights, offering stunning views over the town, the church, and the sea. The scenery is especially beautiful in the evening when everything is lit up. We happened to visit during a heatwave, so unfortunately the terraces were too hot to enjoy during the day as there wasn’t any shade. Under normal weather conditions, they would be wonderful places to relax. Both the accommodation and the town are lovely, but it’s worth noting that there are a lot of steps—both inside the townhouse and throughout the old town—so this may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

We had a great stay in the heart of the old town and enjoyed using the roof terrace while at home.

− The one air conditioning unit in the lounge with fans in the bedrooms was ok but maybe some better air conditioning is needed for the high summer heat with small children.
Muy buena opción en el centro de Altea
8.0La casa y la ubicación son increíbles: en pleno centro de Altea, moderna, con terraza y azotea solarium, 3 habitaciones amplias, todo limpio, con menaje más que suficiente de limpieza y cocina y un salón muy cómodo. Muy buena opción.
− A pesar de todo lo dicho, algunas cuestiones son mejorables para maximizar la buena experiencia de la estancia: la mampara de la ducha no se ajusta bien y el baño se encharca enseguida; el lavabo no traga bien y, puesto que solo hay un baño para 6 personas, después de usarlo una vez hay que esperar un tiempo; en el solarium hemos echado en falta un toldo y algo de iluminación en la noche; una de las habitaciones no tiene ventilador de techo como las otras y, en plena ola de calor, intentamos buscar una solución con la propietaria y no lo conseguimos, aunque por la noche es verdad que había corriente; y, finalmente, se ve que el frigorífico estaba apagado cuando llegamos y le costó empezar enfriar hasta el día siguiente.
