Charming Cottage Stay, Just a Hassle with the Damage Deposit

High quality furnishings and comfortable beds, all the utensils we needed were on hand. The remote location is what we were looking for, and the stay was very enjoyable.

− The damage deposit policy felt absurd. Being required to pay an additional £100 well in advance (else the reservation will be cancelled), when one night costs £315, is very inconvenient. We use Booking.com for a fast and smooth booking experience, so these extra steps were disappointing. That said, the depost was refunded 3 days after check-out.
