A lovely stay at Serenity House. Perfect location for Omodos or visits to other villages!

Serenity House was lovely, the location was perfect, it took us less than 5 minutes to walk into the square. We were on the edge of the village with beautiful views across the valley. The house was tucked away and whilst parking wasn’t at the front door it was just a stroll away. Our child liked the mezzanine bedroom and the fireplace was perfect for us. The house had heaters too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the walks around the village one the local vineyards were perfect for our dogs.

− The village restaurants closed early so be prepared for an early dinner. I believe most are shut by 7pm and it’s advisable to book. The Black Goose looked very nice and was always busy.

Το διαμέρισμα είναι φανταστικό, για 4μελή οικογένεια και όχι μόνο. Καθαρό και με όλες τις ανέσεις. Ο ιδιοκτήτης σε συνεχή επικοινωνία μαζί μας ώστε να λύσει οποιαδήποτε δυσκολία. Να το επιλέξετε, αξίζει.

I loved everything about this accomodation, calm area, beautiful terrace with a view, loved the vintage atmosphere and the host was always making sure I have everything I need. Also the fireplace was amazing 😍

− The only thing I cant think of is the little smell from bathroom, which could be easily resolved with keeping the door closed :)

Die Unterkunft war wirklich sehr schön. Alles war sauber, gemütlich und mit viel Liebe gestaltet. Die Lage fast im Herzen von Omodos hat unseren Aufenthalt besonders angenehm gemacht.

− Es gab eigentlich nichts, was uns nicht gefallen hätte.

>> although booing gave 9.0 mark , i would give a 8.0 mark - see remarks. big apartment that can host a family. very quiet location except on Sundays - when you can hear the tavern music... new equipped kitchen that has everything. parquetted floors. a "spare" dinning room that can be used for play. nice view if you seat in the balcony that has opening roof. parking on the main road (just before walking up to the apartment) - and also 30 meters up on the right. main street 60 meters in front of the well. lots of amenities. old furniture - showcase... can't use them. no problem with hot water or water flow. >> tap water was surprising good - no need to buy mineral water.

− pay attention to the description...: the apartment has SOME air-con, NOT fully air-con. only in the kitchen and the sleep rooms. NO air-con in the main living room (where the tv is) and not in the "spare" dinning room. so it can get hot in the summer and cold in the winter. there is a fire place in the living room, but this doesn't fit to everyone. the second sleep room has no window. although big apartment, the is barely a place to put your luggage, no shelves, no hooks, no suitcase stool - so if you are more than 2 persons - it will be challenging... bathroom very small fits one person, so for family that has to help with kids - quite an issue.
