Väldigt prisvärt och fantastisk personal

− Vi påverkades av att det regnade nästan oavbrutet så det var väldigt fuktigt. Vi kom lite tidigare och fick ett rum som var ledigt men nog lite sämre än det vi skulle fått. Vi såg ingenting ut från fönstren vilket var tråkigt då trädgården är fantastiskt frodig och grön med odlingar. En riktig oas! Paret som driver den är hjärtliga och hjälpsamma och serverar frukost med frukt från trädgården och fixar transporter när vi behövde. Vi saknade sänglampor i rummet, fanns bara kalla lysrör i taket.

Everything was actually fine except the unlucky incident that I described below

− I discovered bed bugs in the room. Which was unpleasant but that was not the problem. It happens. The problem was, when I asked one of the owners to change my room, he tried to avoid it and keep me in this room for the rest of my stay. He told me then I would move the bed bugs to other rooms as well. Finally they gave me another room and the other owner actually offered to clean my clothes, which was nice. But then at the end of my stay, when I asked if I could extend my stay a couple of more days the lady said that she would check and she avoided answering. The last day the lady came to apologize and told me that I don't have to pay for the couple of breakfasts I had there. Honestly I don't mind paying for breakfasts that I ate. Instead I would have rather changed my room without having to ask multiple times and be transparent about the extension of my stay. Then I would still give a better review. Additionally there are a bunch of people who stay there for long term apparently, they can turn on the TV (or their cell phone I guess) outside at 8:00 a.m. in the morning and there is no insulation.

− Приехали, заселились. Номер был грязный, постельное бельё припахивало плесенью. После того, как хозяевам сказал, что комната не готова, они даже не предложили её убрать. Мы не стали оставаться, переехали в другой отель. Категорически не рекомендую, в Кампоте есть и другие места для остановки

Guesthouse impeccable, c'est un havre de paix à Kampot. Pas de bruit, literie confortable, jardin agréable au petit déjeuner, les prix sont très corrects et le grand plus c'est le personnel qui est très sympathique. Pour info: je suis tombée malade et ils ont accepté d'aller au 7-eleven pour moi et acheter des électrolytes. Location de scooter possible aussi sur place 24h / 8$. Je recommande !

We stayed a night at the Double Room with Fan. Lovely setting of having a green front garden and a table and chairs to chill out. The room itself is big, clean, and spacious. We hired their motorbike (USD 8 for 24 hours) and no issues at all. Pros: - Located close to the railway station at walking distance. - The city centre is easily accessible by tuktuk. - Local street food stalls close to the guesthouse - Simplicity, peacefulness, and cleanliness of the accommodation.
